TS100 Hyperextension bench exercise: raised hand pumps with the TS 100 laid out on the ground (1 bar)
This exercise works mainly the pectoralis major, the deltoid (anterior head) muscles and triceps. Additional muscles, notably the abdominals are worked to maintain balance.

4 times 10 seconds.
Breathe in when lowering and breathe out when returning to the start position.
SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS AND TECHNIQUE
Slow and controlled execution
Start position: hands (inverted on ground) using a single TS100 bar.
Execution: lower the chest turning the elbows outwards (each side of the shoulders), to hand height keeping abdominals contracted. The elbows must remain alongside the body all the way down in order to effectively work the triceps. Return to start position.
LEVELS OF DIFFICULTY
Vary the range of movements and intensity of repetitions. Use a weight vest.
